Welcome
   About Me

MARIA VICTORIA GASPAR

I am the proud daughter of immigrant parents who sacrificed everything to give me the opportunities they never had. As a first-generation Latina, my journey has been shaped by resilience, ambition, and a deep sense of gratitude for the sacrifices my family has made. Every step I take is in honor of them, ensuring that their hard work was not in vain. My greatest motivation is making my parents proud, proving that their struggles have led to something meaningful and impactful.

From an early age, I recognized the power of creativity as a means of storytelling and representation.  As an advertising student at the University of Oregon,  I have dedicated myself to crafting narratives that uplift and empower the Latinx community. My work is rooted in the belief that our stories matter,  our perspectives are valuable, and there is a space for us in creative industries. Through my roles as President of Mecha—a multicultural student organization,  and Vice President of UNIDOS— a student club under the School of Journalism and Communication, I have worked tirelessly to create opportunities for Latinx students, ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and supported.

In addition to my leadership experience, I have worked on improving my creative skills through Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Audition, which have allowed me to enhance visual and audio storytelling. Whether refining images to capture the essence of a campaign or producing highquality audio for my podcast, these tools have been instrumental in bringing my creative visions to life.

Through every project, every leadership role, and every creative endeavor, my mission stays the same: to inspire others to believe in their potential. I want young Latinx creatives to know that their voices belong in advertising, marketing, and media—that their perspectives bring something real, something necessary, to industries that need more diversity.

As I keep growing in my career, one of my biggest dreams is to create a Super Bowl ad. Not just any ad, but one that leaves people talking, feeling, and seeing themselves in a way they haven’t before. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest platforms in the world, and I want to use it to tell a story that matters—something that represents my culture, my people, and the voices that often go unheard. I want to work with brands that value real storytelling, pushing for more inclusivity in media and making sure Latinx creatives aren’t just included but leading the way.

My journey is just getting started, but I know why I’m here. I’m here to make a difference, to break barriers, and to show the next generation of Latinx creatives that we belong in these spaces. Our work isn’t just unique—it’s powerful, and the world needs to see it.
